In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in providing excellent customer service, maintaining accurate in-store records, and managing online listings on platforms such as ikman.lk and Facebook Marketplace.
Responsibilities:
Cash Handling: Perform cashier duties, including processing customer transactions, handling payments, and providing change accurately.
Data Entry: Maintain accurate records of in-store sales and inventory, ensuring data is up to date and precise.
Online Listings: Manage engaging product listings on platforms such as ikman.lk and Facebook Marketplace, including inputting product details, descriptions, images, and prices.
Customer Service: Interact with customers at the store, assisting with inquiries, providing product information, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Inventory Oversight: Help manage in-store inventory, ensuring products are well-organized and restocked as needed.
Collaborative Efforts: Work closely with the team to ensure efficient in-store operations, online listings, and a smooth customer experience.
Quality Assurance: Ensure accurate product pricing and information within the store and online listings.
Reporting: Generate reports on daily sales, inventory levels, and online listing performance to support decision-making.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency in cashier, data entry, and online listing processes.
Stay Informed: Stay updated on best practices in cashier operations, in-store management, and online marketplace management.
Qualifications:
- Aged between 18 and 35, with a genuine interest in the automotive field.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially in cashier transactions, data entry, and online listing management.
- Tech-savvy and quick to adapt to new software for cashier operations and online listings.
- Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
- Previous experience in cashier, data entry, or online marketplace operations is beneficial.
- Familiarity with automotive parts and accessories is an advantage.
- Effective communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Positive attitude, proactive problem-solving approach, and eagerness to learn.
